What is the average cost of car insurance for a 16 year old male?

I need it for a school project PLEASE HELP!

1. well full coverage will cost about $150 a month and liability will run about a $120 a month, but that is in texas, it may vary by state. I drove a 300gt vr-4 when i was 16 and it was a $150 a month but i did have a lot of discounts because we had several cars as well as our business insured through state farm, so i could jump up to as much as $180 a month, also most states offer 10% off for students with an A or B average in school.
2. There's no meaningful average. Insurance costs are based upon numerous factors of which your age and gender are only two. Your driving record, the vehicle itself, the coverage, where you live, even whether the car is parked on the street or in a garage at night all come in to play. It could vary anywhere between $100 or so per month for basic liability on a plain-jane grocery-getter in a rural area to over $1,000 per month on a sports car with full coverage in the heart of a major city and a bad driving record.
