  8. Your car insurance will be cheaper if you buy the premium all in one rather than paying in installments, which includes interest. You will see the difference. Shop online. When you buy off the internet, it is cheaper. Shop around for local and national insurance prices. Good luck. AIG is pretty good. They give you free roadside assistance.
  9. When I went through the steps to have my license re-instated I found that GEICO had the cheapest quote by far. This was for a 22 year old with 2 suspentions, 2 speeding tickets on record, and a wreck. In that policy I was paying $40 a month for a 97 ford ranger. Sounds like you are making car payments, and it is probably a car with a good amount of power. If you can't afford it then don't buy it. Sometimes you have to accept that it will be until you are over 25 before you will have too cool of a car. The only way to get cheaper insurance would be to find a car that isn't such a high risk, or you can pay cash for your car because you only have to carry liability coverage on it to be legal, but when you are making payments you have to have full coverage. On a side note, you are 18 and cannot spell to save your life. Reading this description is really sad. Being educated doesn't help your insurance rates usually, but will benefit you in the long run.
  10. One thing to do is to buy a "beater" for your first (cash only, no loans), then only carry "liability" insurance. That means that anyone you may have an accident with will get their car fixed by your insurance, but yours won't. It makes a HUGE difference in your premiums, and do you really NEED a car for its looks, or just for the transportation? Anyway, not making a claim and just getting older are the best ways to get those premiums down. Some companies offer a discount if you take a "safe driver course" through them, check on that. Some offer good grade discounts, or non-smoker discounts, or multi-account discounts. I have all of my insurance through American Family, and when my sons were young, we had a great discount on multi-car, multi-account discounts. They paid around $100 a month at first.
  11. Is it legal to drive a car with out insurance, and if it is (which I'm pretty sure it is) what are the consequences if you dont?
