ok i live in canada, and i am saveing up for my first car, what is the cheapest car i can get, cheap but still a good car, a standared car not a stick. and how much insurance will i have to pay for this car. no i only got pulled over once but that was 2 years ago, will that take an effect for my insurance .........

1. the best first car for insurance is always an old beater car. Some other things you can look into are trucks and mid sized vehs (4 doors) Trucks are always cheaper as the are bigger less chance for veh damage and bodily injuries 4doors are good as they are usually family veh less likley they would be speeding and so forth. Try to stay away from honda civics, grand am anything you see a lot of young people driving as they will have hiring veh ratings. As for your ticket in Canada it will stay on your record for 3yrs if its a minor ticket (speeding under 50k)
