Please tell me the insurance companies that would take my car insurance payments through a bank standing order
Because of my credit low rating, I have been paying regularly my creditors such as phones providers, professional bodies and charities through standing orders. But the insurance companies insisted on Direct Debt or Credit cards which I cannot use as of now. Please assist in finding any car insurance company that would take a bank standing order. Thanks.

- I've had the same problem in the past.....you shouldn't be peanalised for paying by standing order. Most companies will accept this payment method if you explain your circumstances or subject to your account, they may offer a 'variable direct debit' which means dates and amounts can be changed at short notice by you or the company as necessary. Hope this helps and you can get it sorted out!
- If you are able to pay by standing order then you must equally be able to pay by direct debit - and for doing so should get a discount. But remember if, for any reason, the premiums become overdue you will lose your cover and will be breaking the law.
- churchill insurance will no trouble give them a call or go online
