1. The amount you pay for car insurance depends on too many factors to give you an answer. How old are you? Have you had moving violations in the last x number of years? What make, model, year of car? Where is the car garaged? How is the car used, i.e. work, school, personal? How much insurance do you want? What deductable?

5. one of the guys pretty much said it. car insurance is based on your age, how long you've had your license, car type (ranging from how many cylinders, and what symbol it is), if it's 4 wheel drive, the area you live in...and there's much more. the easiest way to get the cheapest rate is to have an idea of what you want. if you don't want full coverage, I recommend you getting Liability and Uninsured/underinsured motorist. it's a great coverage that's really cheap.
