Insurance for girls?

Has anyone heard that if you are a girl and you have a "B" average on your trascript, you save 70% on the price of the auto insurance?

1. No, I have not heard that. I have heard that as a teenager, insurance rates are lower for females then males due to the fact that insurance companies feel that female teenagers don't speed as much. Also, good grades show some insurance companies you are responsible, and therefore you can get a discount.
2. Sure,you save because girls are more responsible than boys,and a good GPA means you are also smart.Having said that,I really don't think you save 70%.It will vary with different Ins. companies.
