I'm 16 and i'm almost to getting my full license. I being looking around for insurance and my best choice is to have a add on to my parent's insurance and that's $200 each month. Is there any place where i can get lower price than that? Never have an accident or trouble with the law, B+ student, took Defensive Driving. my school and work is only 3 miles away so that should help.

  1. Anything but State Farm!
  2. i do not know but i will mess with texas!
  3. $200 a month is about right. That is what I paid at that age (few years ago).
  4. Because you are a male and your age will make insurance expensive. Check Geico or even prudential, however due to your age your best price will most likely be you added to mom and dad's insurance. Sorry and goodluck.
  5. Call different insurance companies and ask. You're rates are oing to be a little higher because you are a teenager and have hardly any experience driving.
  6. Parents insurance is going to be the cheapest option for now. You will pay a lot for insurance until you turn 25
  7. I'm not sure if its offered in Texas, but I live in MIchigan, I use Unitrin Direct auto insurance, its so cheap and really reliable.
  8. farmers ins. group
  9. Try to get on your parents Insurance.......... or check out Geico.. They may have a plan for teen agers....I just paid my bill and have their number in front of me...1-800-932-8872 you see....."O" Wise One....is here to help Be careful when you drive....
  10. well i hate to say it but you really can't get your own insurance until your 18 but it's a good thing with being on b honor roll and defensive driving your parents can get a discount on the insurance for that depending on who they have and insurance is usually costly for young drivers and it depends on the car you will be driving
  11. Unitrin? sounds like somekind of pill. @16 the only plan they have for teens is to rob you. I've had gayco, united, mercury, and now progressive. Mom & Dad ins. is best choice. Good Luck.
  12. I recommend InsureMe – They give you the five best auto insurance quotes from top-rated auto insurers nationwide. To request a free, no obligation quote, Go to http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?Refby=613596&Type=auto I hope that helps! Take care and best of luck with your auto insurance!
  13. You live in texas. Just think, 17% of texans are uninsured..... I think you know why think you can figure out why... any way i say you join the 17% and just dont pay for insurance. hint:Texas is close to Mexico
  14. I would check out http://www.surfquotes.com/autoinsurance.html they specialize in young driver car insurance rates and they are based out of Dallas Texas.
  15. At 16 I was on my parent's Geico plan with a driving class under my belt and good grades with a 1985 4 cylinder and I was paying about $120 a month. With one ticket and an upgrade to a 1998 performance sedan that went to $180. Once the policy laws changed in Colorado that went down to $140. Mind you that was on my parent's Geico plan, but overall we've been very happy with geico.
  16. Gecio?
