- elephant.co.uk and get a quote for fully comp, is norm cheaper.
- i would go to tesco.com i have always found that they are by far the cheapest
- Tell him to do a pass plus course you get 2 years no claims automatically so would get it cheaper cos thats what i'm going to do.
- tesco is definitely the cheapest. http://www.tesco.co.uk hope this helps x
- Give Quinn a go, and stick the licence type down as a provisional I know its not, but when the cops stop you as long as you got a licence and a certificate of insurance theyr happy enough, and it doesnt say on ur certificate the type of licence Also ur covered driving other peoples cars http://www.quinn-direct.co.uk/index.html Should be under a grant for third party, fire and theft if u put down a prov licence
- easy the best thing you can do is forget the Internet its naff, they give you prices without any form off discount. the best way to get a good quote is to do it the hard way, on the phone. speak to call connections google it for the number, they will give you numbers for companies that will deal with you not those that won't insure you. tips supermarket.com it first find you ball park figure phone call connections tell them the lowest figure(for the numbers).tell call connections that you have to go to work soon and ask them for the numbers otherwise they will ring you all day, and annoy the cr@@ out of you!! with each new company you speak to lower the price alittle say £200 first then alittle less, if they ask you to take it out now ie, the deal stands only if you take it out now, just tell them that its you 2nd or 3rd call so you'd be mad to do that and take a reference from them(important). doing this i saved £600 first year highperfomance (from 1600 to 1k) and £450 this year a&a alan & alan (from 1k to 448) 2156 is mad i wouldn't pay that. follow the tips and don't feel forced into making any desicion quickly. you'll easly find out when to stop reducing the price you tell them as they'll be honest with you and say they can't beat it. the quotes i got were around 1k 846 764 695 - tesco and i got 10% off more coz i work from them. 554 - performance direct 500 amazingly 380 worked out 448 after all cost. ( with alan and alan) i rang 3 more companies and they just laughed at me and said the companies must be doggy. So i made sure i checked all the details twice which you need to do anyway.
- Oh my god thats a rediculous quote! And TPO cover?! Try Lloyds TSB Insurance, or Prudential as they hae always given me reasonable quotes for my Renault Clio 1.2 (03 reg) and I was also a younger driver when I bought my first insurance.
- I've found confused.com to be by far the best time saving device when trying to get insurance. You fill in one set of online forms, answering the questions once and they do do all the work. From them you get indicative quotes on the cheapest and then go direct. Fully comp can often be less than a 3rd party policy. Another alternative is to get his parents to switch to Direct Line, get a named policy with them too and build up his own no claims discount...
- I would actually look for a policy with third party, fire and theft cover - they can be cheaper! No one can decide 'best' for you. You have to decide whether the policy with which you are quoted has suitable cover to meet your demands and needs. Some low-price policies have high excesses so if you don't claim you win, but if you do claim you lose. For young drivers the cheapest rates are on-line (It hurts me to say that as a broker but its true). Please note the word 'cheapest' not 'best'. Try Admiral or the NU pay as you drive option. Just remember that if you have a problem with the insurer then you have no one to help you, nor do you have anyone to advise you about policy cover -it's all up to you.
