- It really all depends on your area, how many cars you are insuring, the ages of the people operating those cars and their driving records. You have to get quotes and find out what is cheapes. I suggest Progressive, they are cheaper, and much better to deal with the Geiko, they kept changing the policy on my husband without his permission causing a sumbstantial rise in his premium.
- US wise It depends: What state do you live in? How old are u? What kind of car do you drive? Any tickets or accidents? The price of insurance is based on the loss to premium ratio your company wants for the group you are underwritten with. All of the above things affect which group you are in. Some companies may have better rates for higher risked drivers but no so great rates for low risk drivers, and the opposite can happen as well. Not to mention, just because it is the cheapest doesn't mean it is the best either! Worked for the state office of one the largest insurance companies in the US! Edit-Sticky Nicky- females only get a better rate if you are considered a youthful driver. Males under 25 and females under 21 are rated based on whether they are married and what their genders are. Other than that the gender of a person plays no part in rates
- In my area the cheapest is Grange. Here is there web site. www.grangeinsurance.com
- Hi! Is hard to say which car insurance company offer the cheapest rate, the rate is really depend on many fact, in general they are: 1. Your age: Like teenagers have the highest rate, also sometimes is your driving experience, you can see people get their driver license at age 30, it still consider high risk catagory as a new driver. Also once you get older your rates also go up , due to the health condition will very likely go down like eyesight won't be as effective as young people. 2. Gender: Female get better rate than male 3.Type of vehicle: the more expensive your cars are, the higher rate they will be. 4.Marital status: Married people get better rates than single people as they seem to be more stable. 5.Where do you live: Depend on the states, sometimes you get better rates if you live in the suburb, because it's less traffic, city living will have higher rates. 6.The deductible you choose: Higher deductible higher your rates. 7.Credit score: Some company will check your credit score . 8.Insurance company: Different company have different policy. You see, there's many factors impact your insurance rate. The best way to find out is shop around online. There's many websites provide quotes from different companies for you to compare. So try it out to see for yourself. You can take a look at this site www.carsinsurancetips.com . Good luck to find a good rate ! Hope this helps! Kity
- I just want to add a few things to all the rest.. The limits you choose to carry determine how much premium you will pay. Whether or not you have insurance now and kept insurance for six months affect your rate. Most people don't realize that if you are constantly buying insurance and then letting it cancel, you will never get a good rate. In my office, we usually find that people with not so good credit and no prior insurance usually get a better rate through AIG.
- Insurance is very individual so my company that gives me cheap rates, may turn around and give you high rates. The best thing to do would be to get an online insurance quote at http://www.auto-insurance-knowledge.com/24-hour-insurance-quote-auto.html This will compare all companies in your area and find you the lowest prices! hope that helps!
- Car insurance does NOT have to cost a arm and a leg. The reason why people pay more than they should is that they don't take a few minutes and simply ask more than one insurer about their rates. Getting more than one quote WILL save you money. At the very least, if you get two quotes, you can either compare and take the cheaper one, or tell the other to match or beat it. Think about it. Not getting multiple quotes is just a bad move, and you're telling the insurance agents to rip you off. You compare when you go to the store, why not compare when you're spending hundreds, maybe thousands a year on car insurance? Another thing: Get ONLINE car insurance quotes. They only take minutes to do, you don't have to talk to anyone online, and you'll get better rates because you're dealing directly with the company, not their insurance agents. You're practically guaranteed to save, because you won't be paying that agent fee. You'll find more info on car insurance, and some places to get some pretty good online rates here: http://www.axalda.info/car-insurance.html
