How much does car insurance cost per month?
I'm turning 16 and getting my license and need to tart saving up. IDK if it matters but this is my car: 2000 Mazda 626

- First off, if you are 16, you would have to get insurance with your parents. Call your parents company and tell them that you are wanting a quote on your vehicle for you when you get your license. Let them know that you don't have it yet. That would be the best way to get an accurate quote
- It depends on your state, your zip code, the coverages that you want, any driving school or training you've had, and your GPA. Call your parent's insurance agent and ask. They will be able to give a solid answer.
- Iam sure it is going to be 200 a month or more.
- You need to talk to your parents insurance company and get a quote. Keep your grades up and you will get a good student discount.
- Here is what matters: Where you live. What city, what state, maybe even what neighborhood. This affects the risk of hail damage, flood damage, theft, all sorts of stuff. You're also more likely to be in an accident someplace like San Francisco, CA than someplace like Seligman, AZ. Whether you drive to work/school, FOR work, or just for pleasure. They may be able to tell by odometer readings, which they may get from when you have the car serviced, or if you get in an accident. Don't lie. Whether the vehicle is garaged or parked in the open. Garaged means less risk on the comprehensive and theft policies. Whether the vehicle has anti-theft devices. How old you are. (you're screwed) How long you've been driving. (you're screwed) Your gender, particularly if you're young. Teenage boys are one of the highest risk groups, for example. Don't get excited, teenage girls suck, too. What make/model/year car it is. Some cars are more dangerous to drive (power/handling wise, people just get in trouble with them: example, Mustang), some cars are expensive to repair if they get in an accident (example: Lotus Elise), some cars do a lot of damage to OTHER cars and objects if they get in an accident (example: most trucks). Whether you're getting insurance on your own, or under your parents policy (the latter is usually cheaper). Possibly your grades. Some companies view good grades as a sign of responsibility. (Little do they know, however, that the best grades are usually a sign of dishonesty.) The answer, for you, is probably: A lot more than you're hoping, but not as much as it might be. No one will be able to be more specific without more information.
- ey I pulled this one for ya, so you owe me one, haha... better check on it. "Don't Apply For Car Insurance Until You Read This" http://www.useful-tips.com/auto-car-insurance-guide/AutoInsurance.html
