how much does car insurance cost?

i'm 20 years old living in new york driving a 2005 jeep wrangler. just wondering how much it will cost me a year or per month.

1. I had a brand new 2003 wrangler around your age, and I ended up paying around $140 a month in insurance alone. Totally clean driving record my entire life.
2. ouch!!!probally a small fortune..alot of ins., co., go by your credit rating too..which i think is very stupid..your credit shouldn't have anything to do with it
3. It would depend on your circumstances, type of vehicle, used for business or pleasure, average miles driven, where it is parked at night, and your driving and credit record. Despite the stupid comment about credit rating, it is weighed heavily since it does show a lot about you.
