How much can I expect car insurance to cost if I am female, and have a used car? What is the range?

I am looking for a car, I don't have a lot of money, and I'd like to have an idea how much my insurance would cost me. I am female, and a first time driver. Can anyone give me a price range?

1. from nothing, if you put it on your parent's policy, to uninsurable. Sorry, range depends on LOCATION, type of car, how much coverage you need, your credit score, driving record, etc.
2. In addition to the other characteristics that your first answer mentions, you are likely to pay more if you are younger or a first time driver. As mentioned, your best way to be fully insured and keep costs down is if your car is insured under your parent's policy, if at all possible.
