- Confused.com
- You can't do it for ALL companies as they all want different information. Confused.com is a broker and will ask several insurance companies. Unfortunately there is no way round the leg work of form filling. Alternatively ask you friends who they use. As long as they are the same age and drive a similar car that will give a good comparison. Me I am 42 and drive a Mazda 5 Diesel and I use Direct Line.
- You could try someone like http://www.moneysupermarket.com/motor/ i got a good deal with them :-) Don't think theres anyone that can search all uk companies but they search with about 50 companies (even some i've never heard of) ;-)
- what you want i think is not possible different car insurance company has different forms and needs different information from clients... but if you are searching for car insurance and you want it done fast...you can visit this site... http://www.nightbirdssolutions.com they have a list of car insurance company in uk where you can have a quick search... http://www.nightbirdssolutions.com
- The best one to use in my opinion is moneysupermarket.com.I use them recently for ins for my new car and they got loads of different quotes from different places i.e banks, supermarkets, ins company's and more.In the end we used their quote and save about 100 pounds a month,as well as getting 50 pounds cash back when we changed. The cover was sooo much better too.
- go to something like confused.com or gocompare.com and they ask u to fill in 1 form and they wil search quotes for you
- I dont trust these brokers who do a big selection of companies because you can get a better quote by going to the companies yourself .I have just renewed my car insurance with swiftcover which is an online company .that means they need minimum forms filling in and you print out all your own documents thus getting a lot cheaper quote. I have managed to reduce my insurance every year for the past 5 years by changing to the newest and buying online! Comprehensive insurance used to be just that .BUT now you have to pay for l;egal cover ,no claims bonus cover ,hire car etc etc . so how is it comprehensive any more
- http://www.confused.com http://www.moneysupermarket.com http://www.theaa.com They do not list every insurance company.
- moneysupermarket.com worked for me. best of luck
- There are a number of comparison sites, like the ones mentioned previously, but they don't include all companies. For example, Tesco and Direct Line often offer competitive quotes but don't tend to participate in comparison sites. Even the results the comparison sites offer will vary for the same personal circumstances. Sometimes they also do not accurately translate what you put into them into the quoting systems on individual insurer's sites. So when you go to 'complete' the transaction, and change a couple of details, you find the quote goes up. So I would use the comparison sites as a guide only, to show which companies are likely to be ballpark best for you. Then investigate further directly with the companies themselves. Last time I bought insurance I checked with confused.com and moneysupermarket.com. But I ended up insuring with a company that was 6th from the top in the listings on one site, and not even checked by the other.
