Whats the best insurance companies to use for a car?

im 17 male and im trying to insure my car its only a 998 cc car & im getting quoted 3900 for it, which its Absolutely ridiculous, & i know you can get it for so much cheaper. ive used all this bloody car comparison websites and then when i try to see when i get a quote on others it just say, can not quote at this time please ring us... HELP.

1. HAve you tried calling them? Ringing nos in the phone book? Have you actually got the car yet? If not, then I suggest you get added to your parents insurance and drive theirs until you have some history - did you learn in your parents car and not have an accident which you can show to prove you are trustworthy? Can you take an additional test or lessons to prove you are not a high risk (I reckon this may be your best bet and may recoup the outlay in saved premiums) Unfortunately insurance is priced on risk, and 17 yr old males are the highest risk (I could be insured on my parents car aged 17 but not my brothers). Until you have a history which shows you are responsible, companies are very cautious as a lot of high cost accidents are caused by young men - hence the high premiums, even with low cc cars. Sorry I am sure that is not what you want to hear. There are however some good young male drivers around, I hope you are one of them.

3. You need to call all the car insurance companies in your area and get quotes with the same features and a high deductible. Then pick the cheapest.
