- None if you are in the UK - I don't think you are licenced to drive until you are 17.
- If in the US- Geico- Its so cheap!
- YOU SHOULD TRY PROGRESSIVE.....THEY HAVE INSURANCE FOR TEENAGERS......YOU COULD TRY OTHER COMPANYS TO GET A FREE QUOTE...... THEY WILL CHARGE YOU BASED ON YOUR AGE.....BUT GIVE PROGRESSIVE A TRY THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- well if you are disabled and getting allowance at higher component then you can drive still you said you was about to get your licence (is that provisional from dval if so then dont get insurance instead get driving practice through an ADI specialining in your situation
- progressive
- i just got a quote for my soon to be 16 yr old daughter of 700 under my insurance. due to the variances from state to stae the best way would be to call the comopanies in your area nd get several quotes. in youe own name expect topay alot. less under parents name.and if you live with them and have a license their insurance will go up anyway.
- Progressive. I did and it was cheap. My circumstances were pretty good though.
- I think that you will have get registered your parents. My sister got her license and she would have to pay $60 to be added on.
- I use 21st Century, I compared the other ins co and found 21st C to be far lower than the rest. In fact AAA was 700 more and when I complained about it their 15% better rates than the rest as advertised I was told its because I drive 40 miles a day to work and not 5 miles, what a crock of crap, I stayed with 21st C. Try 21st Century first. God Bless
- The cheapest for any new, inexperienced driver, will be whatever the parents have for their insurance. The newly licensed driver gets added to that policy as a secondary driver, or if the newly licensed driver has his or own car, it it titled in the name of the parents and put on their policy and again the child is added as a driver. It will raise your insurance quite a bit, but far less than attempting to get a 16 year old their own policy.
- I have had a couple of car insurers, I started with progressive... really cheap, but no personal contact (unless you have a office in your town.) I personally like my local state farm agent, they really seem to take care of me, finding discounts... holding Good Grade discounts though I'm currently out of school. Pay: if you a 16 year old boy... get a cheap car, high miles, and maybe something domestic, like gm, or ford. I had a 1996 Pontiac sun fire and paid around $150 a month, with a discount! I currently own a 2002 ford Taurus and pay almost $200 a month... I also have a ticket or two though. Oh, when you turn 21 your rate goes down by 1/3rd... one final thought, building a relationship with insurance is a good idea, discounts come with loyalty. I think my parents have been with state farm for 30 years, they have two new vehicles and pay less than $150 a month for full coverage. which leads me to another thought (last one) if you have a loan for a vehicle from the bank... they will make you get full coverage, because they own it.
- If you qualify, go with USAA. It is #1 in service and its rates beat all the others on the market. More important is what kind of car you are going to be driving. If a sports car your rates are going to be very high no matter which company you go with. You might check out HOW MUCH before you go buy a car.
