what would the best car to get for low insurance?

I am 20 (21 in 5 weeks.) and am hoping to get my licence within the next few months and want to know what would be a good low insurance car, I looked at getting a 1.2 fiat punto and fully comp was £700 for a year I then looked at a 1 leter nisan micra and it was over £1000 for a year, this is suprising at how much more it is as its a smaller engine, so are there any other young drivers out there that could recomend a good first car that wont cost me loads to insure????
