Anyone knowing the best/cheapest car insurance for young drivers?
Hello. I'm a young driver (19) who is looking to buy a new 2007 ford mustang (the deep red color). I really want this car but it looks like there is no way that I will be able to afford the car insurance for this thing. Anyone know the best company for me to speak with? Any advice or tips will help. Thanks.

- i know if you live with someone that has state farm they will give you a discount. i live with my mom but have my own insurance but she has three cars so i get a discount. please answer mine: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AohFh7kwehXdQeN_aUvt2ALsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20090614205153AA3SrXW
- just get liability insurance for now..thats what i would do.
- Progressive. cut my rate in half by switching to them. Just don't get in a wreck or get a ticket cause then it will skyrocket more than other companies. Plus, they will give you the rates of other companies if there's is not the best.
- Amii or budgetdirect are good if your in Australia you didnt tell us where you are in the world
- GEICO. The rates are cheaper because the "middle man" is cut out. And the way to do it is to share a policy with another adult if you can. (a relative?) The sucky part is you are only 19 and considered a "new driver" so no matter where you look the final amount is still going to be expensive. And a little tip you should know.....it costs more to insure a red sportscar because of the higher probability of theft.
- Geico is the cheapest. Trust me I am in that same place man
- any guy under 25 who buys a new car with only 2 doors... is going to have to pay a butt load!! no way around that sry
- Cure auto insurance and Geico
- Fred Loya Insurance? its the cheapest crap out there though it does insure you, it also depends on what type of insurance? good luck drive hard, but safe
- I don't specifically cheap for young drivers, but I saw an ad for $100 off your deductible when you sign up for All State Insurance at this site http://yourhandymanzone.com/index.htm It's like an add towards the middle of the web page. You might also want to contact your local state department of insurance for advice.
- if the car is 10 years old or more recent, it will go with the color of the car, the cut, value, engine power etc. V6 mustang one side insurance youre looking at about 1500-2500 depending on your record. If its the gt youre looking at 2500-3500 depending on your record. all insurance companies will be the same, you might save like 50$ per year max. Also i would wait until 21 so your insurance would go down alot.
- I don't know what state you are in, but I am from Michigan and there are companies here like Auto Owner's Insurance that basically take your information and search for the cheapest insurance provider that will meet your needs and then set up a policy through them. They work with many different companies. I have provided a link. http://www.auto-owners.com/ :D Kimberly
- You have to wait until your 21 to see any real change in your insurance cost but in my experience mercury insurance is very willing to insure young drivers
- of the car is too powerful, the insurance company may charge more for insurance (because your so young) so ask around to find out prices and get quotes.
- Hey! I totally feel you! I just got my new car and stuff! All state had a variety of financial options. So definatly check them out! Also if you have a school transcript,, with whoever you decide take that in and they give you great discounts for good grades. I wish you a lot of luck and i hope i helped! Sincerly, moi
- Try this site http://ginsurance.notlong.com here you can get quotes from different companies in your area so you can find the best option for you.
- I am assuming you're a male. Being a male, and a teenager, AND driving a sports car, your insurance will be expensive. Color is NOT a factor -- that is a myth. Your best bet is to contact some insurance companies and receive a quote. No use in asking here -- no one will be able to give you an exact quote.
- Jose B, There are lots of places where you can get an online quote. http://www.goodinternetdeals.com/Auto-Insurance.html It only takes roughly 10 minutes to do.
- based upon your situation,I think you should find something useful here http://www.Autoinsurancepro.info/auto-insurance-free.htm
- My son is 19 and just bought an 08 Mustang GT! Black!! He pays $91 a month in LA. That is the best deal I could find him.
- So I did a very rough quote on your car, and its coming back at around $4000, which is about $333 per month. I've bookmarked this site to go back to... http://www.knowledged.info/go.php?link=insurance All the best to you.
