What/Who are the best car insurance companies for students that are under 25 ?

I'm 19 and hoping to get my first used, certified card within the next few weeks. The only problem is that I have been looking all over the internet for "the best" or "the cheapest" car insurance for a student who is under 25 and part-time in the military and I cannot find anything. Help if you can. Thanks!

  1. Progressive. Plus if your under 25 your rates aren't going to go down until you turn 25. Though I am twenty and my rate is really good with them. My dad is a CPA and found progressive to be the cheapest for me by far. Good luck :)
  2. It all depends on what state you live in and your driving record.
  3. I think, Axis bank is better for your car insurence for students
  4. I say check out 21st Century, if it's available in your state. I was in a minor car accident years ago, and my former insurance (State Farm) tripled my insurance! I said to hell with that! I was with Progressive for a while, but I found that 21st was even cheaper. I think the rates are reasonable. They even included towing in the price if I needed it. Here's their website if you want to check it out: www.21st.com
  5. For automobile insurance the most efficient way to get a good rate is do a policy comparison on car policies. Make sure that you choose similar options with the same limits, auto model, zip code, etc so that all options are a good comparison. What I always recommend is an internet comparison quote at http://www.lowratetoday.com since they have discount insurers and can give multiple prices on car insurance polices.
  6. Quinn
  7. Being that you're part time military, check out USAA. http://www.usaa.com They are open only for military personnel and their families and from what I heard, they have excellent rates and customer service.
  8. Hire a CPA. Or...go to an independent insurance agent that will shop around for the best price for YOU.
  9. You could try to use google it first, here http://www.Autoinsurancepro.info/auto-insurance-free.htm has some direct information which I think is might be helpful.
  10. If you already know what cover you need you just have to look around for a reputable insurer that will offer you the best price for your cover. Keep track of what you are doing and just check the insurers. 11. I'm 19 and in the National Guard. I am also a full time college student. The best/cheapest insurance I found was through a smaller company. I get 10% discount for being active military and 10% for being a college student. I couldn't afford the car if I had to pay the extra 20%. Just my story. I found out about the company through my NCO.
  12. Try this site http://cheapinsurance.notlong.com here you can get quotes from different companies in your area so you can find the cheapest one for you.
