How much does car rental insurance cost?

I am renting an economy car for one day through enterprise. Any idea what the average cost of rental insurance they offer is? I'll be calling them later on. Just wondering ahead of time what I should expect to pay, on average. Thanks

4. I have been unable to find the average cost of insurance for an Enterprise rental car. I have been able to ascertain that many people pay for unnessary insurance on rental cars. Before renting a car, check with the insurance company/agent that carries the insurance on your personal vehicles. If you are using a credit card to pay for your car rental, ask your credit card carrier about rental car coverage they may cover. Cover all your bases.
