  1. gotta wait til u r 25. Consider increasing your deductible and dropping unecessary add-ons. Insurance policies are negotiable. Talk to your agent. Present it like this: I've found a cheaper carrier, but really want to stay with you. Can you help? They will probably work with you to lower your rates.
  2. every 4 years you have an update for your driver L. record, and nothing happends when u turn 23. btu should get a good rate if you have 0 point in ur DL record.
  3. Unfortunately, no! There is nothing you can do short of getting older and having a good record. Do some searching for better rates but be aware that most insurance companies check credit as part of the process. You may have good credit but, by the time you finish going to several companies, your credit rating, if you have one, will be diminished due to the number of "hits" by the very companies that are looking to give you rates. Each time someone inquires about your credit, you lose points, that's just how the system is set up. The reason for the credit check is that, through research, they have found that people with the best ratings have fewer accidents. Personally, I think the system is wrong and should be scrapped. I have never had an accident other than some people running into my rear end while at a red light. Not my fault, not on my record. Credit is OK but not fantastic ( divorce will do that). Hopefully, at your young age, none of those issues plague you. That's in your favor, lack of credit history isn't. Good Luck! Rick
  4. lets first get the "I am a male about to turn 25 myth" cleared up....it does NOT matter. the only time you will see a drastic drop in your rates is when you go from being an inexperienced operator (someone with less than 3 yrs) to an experienced operator(someone with more than 3 yrs). otherwise your rates (for full coverage) are rated on your driving record, credit score, and what type of auto you have. If you are carrying liablity only, those rates are set by your state and there is not a lot you can do about it.
  5. Hi! The car insurance rate is really depend on many fact, in general they are: 1. Your age: Like teenagers have the highest rate. Normally age 25 is the "mature driver" break. so you probably will need to wait for two more years to get the break rate. 2. Gender: Female get better rate than male, unfortually ,you can't change that! 3.Type of vehicle: Even your lexus is not new, but still lexus. They are higher than some other makers, you really need to check around different company to see which one can offer you better rate. 4.Marital status: Married people get better rates than single people as they seem to be more stable. 5.Where do you live: Depend on the states, sometimes you get better rates if you live in the suburb, because it's less traffic, city living will have higher rates. 6.The deductible you choose: Higher deductible higher your rates. For your ticket, I don't think it will affect your rates that much, because it's not an accident. You see, there's many factors impact your insurance rate. The best way to find out is shop around online. There's many websites provide quotes from different companies for you to compare. You can take a look at this site www.carsinsurancetips.com . Good luck to find a good rate ! Hope this helps! Kity

  7. Even though you may have taken the course, does not mean it won't show up on your mvr. That's a common misconception. The MVR is what most companies go by to determine violations. But it probably will show that you took the class too, but only if proof was sent to the DMV. And no, there are no discounts for your age under 25. FYI: You can get a discount for being married, but once you turn 25 that discount overrides your married discount. Its one or the other, but not both.
  8. The best thing to do to have a much cheaper car insurance rate, Go for an online quotation so that you can collect different car insurance rate. Try to visit this cheap car insurance site http://www.nightbirdssolutions.com for your reference. Goodluck
  9. if you have a decent driving record your rates should go down everytime your policy renews, which is like every six months. mine has been going down ever since i was 18. and i have had speeding tickets, driving with a suspended registration. my insuranced lapsed just last month and when i got it straightened out my rates still went down.
