Does your car insurance cost more when you live in an area with a high level of illegal immigrants?
I would think that this would greatly impact on what your car insurance costs if you are more likely to be involved in an accident with an ininsured illegal immigrant. Is this the case?

- Yep, those illegal immigrants usually do not have insurance and you will need to file a claim with your own insurance company under the uninsured motorists coverage.
- Ummm....YES. not only because of the immigrants high average of not having insurance and problems interpreting our driving laws... but, unfortunately they tend to live in low-income, crime ridden areas... the crime may be from the americans in the area... but, that's where the affordable rents and cultural comforts are for these people.
- Yes, it will be higher in such an area due to more claims because of people driving without insurance coverage. Costs and premiums be going much higher too, when obammamamma gets in office as I heard he and his Socialistic administration has sent out invitations to the entire world to come here and sneak into our country and receive all kinds of "FREE" services. By the way, bombs leave an "IMPACT" and sometimes teeth are "IMPACTED" but in this case illegals may have an "EFFECT" and your insurance costs may be "AFFECTED".
- It depends on the state and the type/amount of coverage you want: Most states allow insurance companies to adjust pricing for the ZIP code in which your car is garaged. Poorer areas tend to be "riskier," and also have high immigrant populations. Therefore, your price would go up, all things being equal. However, California does not allow rating by ZIP code. If you buy un(der)insured motorists coverage (which protects you if the other driver doesn't have insurance (or enough insurance), then locations with higher numbers of uninsured drivers will cause your insurance company to charge you more for that part of your coverage. Other than those two factors, your insurance costs will depend on a) your car b) your driving record, age, etc. and c) how much coverage you buy.

- The simple answer is yes. Illegal immigrants account for 23% of ALL uninsured motorist accidents in the US. Getting uninsured/under-insured coverage is one of the best options to add to any policy no matter what it costs. Good Luck :)
- yes it does effect that , my nephew has a mangled leg from a truck full of illegals running over him and fleeing the scene. my sisters insurance covered some of it ,but not all of it ,so it effects more than just are cost of insurance.
