Is it normal for auto insurance cost to go up every renewal?
My auto insurance is renewed every 6 months and the price keeps going up between $10-$30. There have been no changes to my policy, I have had no accidents or tickets.

- It is usually not normal. I get this question all the time. What is usually happening is you are either losing a discount or gaining one. Like multi-car discount if you had 2 cars and now only have one you might have lost that discount, or if you have homeowners discount you might have lost or gained that discount. Also, the amount of these discounts might have changed say from 15% to 10%. Also, cars get re-evaluated every year and if you car came out worse than they expected in claims your insurance could go up. Just a few things to think about.
- Yep. Just like everything else, prices go up. Mine goes up about that much each time. I know, it makes no sense because the value of your car goes down, but we just have to pay it.
